About me

gadgetsI'm still collecting gadgets and have graduated to the Motorola Droid by way of the Samsung Omnia, (thumbs down), by way of the iPhone. The Nav on the Droid is sliced bread. In addition to being a game industry professional, I am still a die hard gamer. My PS3 ID is 'TEEMUNEE' and my 360 gamer tag is 'Teenyce'. The boys and I have all the next generation consoles and play and enjoy games from just about every genre. My current addictions are Modern warfare 2, Uncharted 2, Rockband 2/Beatles, and DJ Hero. As a game maker, I think it's important to play. You won't find a musician that doesn't listen to music. Speaking of music, the entries in my library are varied and diverse. Weezer, RadioHead, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, N.E.R.D., Matisyahu, Nine Inch Nails, Donnie Hathaway, Amy Winehouse, Little Brother, Common, The Doors ... I love listening to music, recorded and live. If you haven't checked Little Brother, then you are missing out on some true hip hop. And track down any thing by Jay Electronica you can find, Exhibit A is a masterpiece.

Outside of work and gaming, I'm remain pretty active. I like to work out. I also have a Trek 4300 and spend time taking in the trails. I lived in Florida for 5 years. You can't live there without playing golf and I played a lot of it. I love the challenge of maintaining your focus through a round of 18 holes. Golf is a game that will teach you patience.

TeamphotoI grew up playing three sports in school; baseball, football and basketball, and basketball is by far my favorite sport. In high school I played at the point and one of the most rewarding experiences of my life was coaching high school basketball for 4 years. I coached at a small school in Ohio with a lot of talented kids. I split time as the freshmen head coach and a varsity assistant working with guards and scouting the opposing teams in our league. My first job in games came along and with my son starting to walk and talk, it became increasingly harder to spend so much of my free time away from him and my family. If your going to have a successful program, you have to commit to spending a lot of time in preparation. I still play recreationally and love to get into barber shop conversations about Jordan, Kobe and Lebron.

my wifeI am married to my best friend Edie and we have two sons, Jake and Bryce. My wife is a registered nurse with her masters degree and has also obtained her real estate license. She is the hardest working woman I know. Her drive to excel at so many things keeps me motivated. The fact that she is also such a great person and a wonderful mother makes me feel blessed every day. She is also dedicated to her fitness routine and is becoming a good tennis player. She is very competitive so we have a great deal of fun and she plays a mean game of solitaire. She is active on all the consoles now and we are working on a 360 gamer tag for her....

To sum me up, I'm a WYSIWYG kind of guy. What you see is what you get. I dedicate myself to what I do. I'm an experienced artist who understands the art and business of making games.

T.
